Seattle, WA
Sarah and Dave were gifted great baseball tickets, and shared the day with us. We took the bus downtown, found a colorful courtyard and looked for a nice quiet lobby coffee shop. The rest of the day was much louder! Our seats were just six rows behind home plate - what a treat, and we were early enough to see all the careful field preparation. I tried to photograph what I could with my little camera, working to catch the ball between the pitcher and batter. The Mariners won, 3-2 catching an Angel trying to steal second base. After the game we waded through the mess of trash, and worked around the field, where some season ticket holders were playing, past the talking heads, and across the tracks for a bus that took us very close to home. Thank you Sarah and Dave!
